POLITICAL CAREER
Before being elected Lt. Governor in 2010, Calley served two terms in the Michigan House representing the Ionia community. While in the House Calley served as Minority Vice Chair of Tax Policy. During the current legislative session, Calley has been the Snyder Administration point man on tax policy as well as fighting for insurance coverage of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs). Calley also served as a member of the Ionia County Board of Commissioners.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Calley served 10 years as a community banker and small business lender.
EDUCATION
Calley holds a B.A. in business administration from Michigan State University and an MBA from Grand Valley State University.
PERSONAL
A song leader and pianist at the Ionia Baptist Church, Calley has also entertained as a special band member at various capitol community gatherings and functions.
