Paid Advertisement


This bill requires the department to submit a report detailing the number of inspectors employed, number of inspections conducted, the percentage of original notifications of intent received for which inspections were conducted, and number of enforcement actions taken. The report must also evaluate whether the department has a sufficient amount of inspectors to carry out the National Emission Standard for Asbestos.

Amending Language

Amends 1994 PA 451 (MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 5519b.
