Description

This bill prohibits tampering with evidence, including tampering with digital images or video from a body-worn camera and failing to activate a body-worn camera, by law enforcement officer with specific intent. The bill provides penalties for this tampering or failing to activate the body-worn camera.

Amending Language

Amends 1931 PA 328 by amending section 483a (MCL 750.483a), as added by 2000 PA 451.
