Kolb, Chris (D)State Budget Director
Chris Kolb was named State Budget Director effective Jan. 1, 2019 by Gov. Gretchen WHITMER.
Prior to his appointment, Kolb served as president of the Michigan Environmental Council a post he had held since 2009.
He's a former member of the Michigan House of Representatives where he represented the state's 53rd House District from 2001 through 2006.
Kolb holds a bachelor of science degree in natural resources and conducted graduate studies in political science at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia.
