POLITICAL CAREER
Director Clark was appointed effective Jan. 1, 2019 by Gov. Gretchen WHITMER.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Prior to her appointment, Director Clark was a co-founder and partner of 5 Lakes Energy, a policy consulting firm that served businesses, policy makers and other stakeholders seeking to advance the transiton to a clean energy economy.
She's served as president of the Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council and as deputy director for energy programs at the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth.
EDUCATION
Director Clark holds a master's degree in Public Administration from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Michigan State University's James Madison College.
She's completed the Great Lakes Leadership Academy and serves on the board of Advancing Women in Energy.
CIVIC ACTIVITIES
She is an active member of many environmental advocacy organizations, including the Michigan Nature Association, the Nature Conservancy and the American Bird Conservancy.
