Engelman, Mary (Interim Director) ()Civil Rights
Engelman was appointed to serve as interim director of the Department of Civil Rights on November 18, 2019.
Prior to her appointment, Engelman served as deputy director of the Department from March of 2018 through August 2019. Prior to joining the Department, Engelman served as executive director of the Michigan Women's Commission.
From July 2014 through October 2016, Engelman served as director of government affairs and public relations for OpTech. From September 2009 through July 2014 she served as executive director of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce.
Engelman is a graduate of Evangel University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in English.
