Colbeck, Patrick (R)State Senator District 7
Sen. Colbeck has served as the Treasurer of Canton Charter Academy.
Sen. Colbeck has been an independent management consultant while president of Perspective Shifts, LLC since 2004, and in 2007, he formed a web hosting services company called Tek Made Easy.
Sen. Colbeck graduated from the University of Michigan with Bachelor's and Master's in Aerospace Engineering. He has also studied at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Michigan State University, and the International Space University in Strasbourg, France.
Sen. Colbeck and his wife of 21 years Angie live in Canton, MI, and are members of Northridge Church in Plymouth, MI.
Senator Colbeck has received numerous recognitions for his efforts including the Senator Paul Fannin Statesman of the Year Award from National Right to Work for his leadership in making the nation's 24th Right to Work state, the Golden Apple Award for his efforts to expand school of choice for parents, and Legislator of the year Awards from the Senior Alliance, the Police Officers Association of Michigan and Associated Builders and Contractors.
