Hansen, Goeff (R)State Senator District 34
After four years as Hart Township supervisor, Hansen was first elected to the House in 2004 representing the 100th District. During Hansen's three terms, he has been a member of the Appropriations Committee, serving as chair and ranking member of the Agriculture subcommittee.
Sen. Hansen is a former owner of Hansen Foods and Township Supervisor.
Sen. Hansen attended West Shore Community College and Hope College.
Sen. Hansen and his wife, Tamara, live in Hart and have two grown sons and four grandchildren.
He is a member of the Michigan Farm Bureau, NRA and Ducks Unlimited among many others.
