POLITICAL CAREER

Rep. Ben Glardon was elected in 2010 as a first-term candidate. He won in a competitive five-way Republican primary with 30.5 percent of the vote. He defeated Democrat Pamela Drake with 68 percent of the vote. In 2014, the Democrats went after Glardon with Annie Dignan Braidwood, but he won his final term, 53 to 43 percent.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Representative Glardon has been a licensed realtor since 1983, and is the president of Glardon Auction Service.
