Somerville, Pat (R)State Representative District 23
First elected to the House in 2010, Rep. Somerville defeated 1st term Rep. Deb Kennedy for the right to represent the 23rd House District. He's a former Chair of the Wayne County Republicans.
Rep. Somerville's former occupation was Retail Management.
Rep. Somerville has an Aerospace Engineering Degree, University of Michigan.
Somerville is a lifelong downriver resident, and lives in New Boston. He enjoys reading, golfing and was an Evans Scholarship recipient from the Grosse Ile Country Club.
Somerville served as chairman of the Wayne County Young Republicans, and as precinct delegate for the 15th Congressional District. He is also a member of the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
