Courser, Todd (R)State Representative District 82
Rep. Courser was first elected to the Michigan House in 2014 after beating out three Republicans in the primary and knocking off Democrat Margaret Guerrero DeLuca in the general. He is best known for a narrow loss in 2013 to then GOP Chairman Bobby Schostak. Prior to 2014, Courser ran unsuccessful for the legislature twice and the Michigan Board of Education.
Rep. Courser runs his own business in Lapeer as an accountant and lawyer specializing in bankruptcy, estate planning and tax issues.

Rep. Courser is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Thomas Cooley Law School.
Representative Courser and his wife, Fon, have been married for 14 years and have four children.
