Rep. Greig was first elected to the Michigan House in 2014 after defeating two other Democrats in the primary before facing off against Republican Richard Lerner, who she defeated 57 to 43 percent.
Rep. Greig worked previously as a corporate software specialist for various organizations working to learn as much as she could about software packages for payroll, human resources and benefits. Before being elected to the House, she was the director of the Farmington Hills Education Foundation.

Rep. Greig earned a bachelor’s degree in American studies and computer applications from the University of Notre Dame.
Rep. Greig and her husband, Bob, have lived in Farmington Hills for 24 years and have three sons: Andy, Alex and Bill.
Rep. Greig has actively served on several boards, including the Michigan PTA, Metropolitan Youth Symphony, Farmington High School PTA and the Mathematics Pentathlon Institute. She is also a member of the Farmington/Farmington Hills Optimist Club, Farmington Hills MultiCultural, MutiRacial (MCMR) Council and the American Association of University Women. Her numerous awards and recognitions include 2008 Michigan PTA Member of the Year, 2013 Farmington/Farmington Hills Commission on Youth and Families volunteer award, and the 2009 Southeastern Michigan Tennis Association Towler Leadership Award.
