POLITICAL CAREER

Rep. Miller was first elected to the Michigan House in 2014 after defeating three other Republicans in the August primary. In the general election, Rep. Miller defeated Mike Moroz 62 to 38 percent.  

WORK EXPERIENCE

Rep. Miller was a high school mathematics teacher and coached tennis, track and cross country running.

EDUCATION

Rep. Miller holds a bachelor of arts in secondary education with an emphasis in political science from Western Michigan University. He also earned a Master of Education in School Administration from Bethel College.  

PERSONAL

Rep. Miller and his wife, Alexandria, are both Sturgis natives. They reside in Sherman Township and attend Grace Christian Fellowship in Sturgis.  

CIVIC ACTIVITIES

Rep. Miller served as his church's youth leader for two years.
