Neeley, Sheldon (D)State Representative District 34
Rep. Neeley was first elected to the Michigan House in 2014 when he defeated seven other Democrats before easily winning the general election by 92 percent of the vote. Rep. Neeley served on the Flint City Council representing the 6th ward.
Before being elected, Rep. Neeley worked as president of the local Nabet-CWA Union and worked as a broadcast engineer for WJRT-12 TV. He has also worked with the Civil Service Commission and is director of Flint City Junior Golf, founded by his father Sam NEELEY. Rep. Neeley worked for 10 years in Flint Community Schools as a counselor.

Rep. Neeley has an associate's Degree from Delta College and a bachelor's degree in communications from Saginaw Valley State University.
Rep. Neeley lives in Flint with his wife of 22 years, Cynthia. He has two daughters, Taylor and Morgan.
