POLITICAL CAREER

Rep. John Reilly was elected to his first term in November 2016. He is currently a Republican state committeeman and precinct delegate. In 2014, he challenged former Rep. Brad Jacobsen (R-Oxford).

WORK EXPERIENCE

Rep. Reilly worked for 20 years in automotive test engineering at General Motors before starting his own home service business, Log Cabin Handyman, which he has owned and operated for the past 12 years.

EDUCATION

Rep. Reilly graduated from Royal Oak Kimball High School and received an Automotive Technology Engineering associate’s degree from Oakland Community College.

PERSONAL

His wife, Karen, is the Oakland Township Clerk. They have four children.

CIVIC ACTIVITIES

Rep. Reilly runs a Christian adult faith course at two churches in Oakland Township.
