POLITICAL CAREER
Rep. James Lower was elected to his first term as state representative in November 2016.
WORK EXPERIENCE
He has worked as Executive Director for a small national consulting firm and a legislative assistant in both the Michigan House and Michigan Senate.

Rep. Lower received a degree in Economics from Michigan State University and a master's degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University.
PERSONAL
Rep. Lower and his wife, Kristen, live in Greenville.
CIVIC ACTIVITIES
He was a member of the Ionia County Commission, where he served as vice-chairman. He also is a member of the Montcalm Economic Alliance - and the Knights of Columbus. He has also been involved in several grassroots organizations and campaigns, as well.
