POLITICAL CAREER

Rep. Beau LaFave was elected to his first term as state representative in November 2016 and is a Dickinson County Republican precinct delegate.

EDUCATION

Rep. LaFave graduated from Kingsford High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Economy in 2015 from Michigan State University’s James Madison College. He then completed one year at Wayne State University Law School in pursuit of his Juris Doctorate degree but has decided to temporarily put his law degree on hold to serve the people of the Upper Peninsula.
