POLITICAL CAREER
Sen. McMorrow was elected to the Michigan Senate in 2018 after she defeated incumbent Sen. Marty KNOLLENBERG by securing 51.9 percent. She did not face any primary opposition.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Sen. McMorrow worked as a product designer for Mattel where she designed products and clothing for the company's Hot Wheels product line.
While at Mattel, she was awarded a 2012 patent for the Hot Wheels Urban Shredder, a new ride-on toy she helped design.
McMorrow also helped launch and lead a Los Angeles based advertising and documentary production company and was a contributing design editor to RoadAndTrack.com.

She attended and graduated from Notre Dame University.
PERSONAL
McMorrow moved to Michigan after meeting a Michigan resident. Originally from Whitehouse, New Jersey, she presently lives in Royal Oak with her husband, Ray WERT.
