POLITICAL CAREER

Rep. Pohutsky was first elected to the House on Nov. 6, 2018 when she defeated Republican Brian MEAKIN by securing 50.24 percent of the vote. 

Pohutsky survived a Democratic primary against Dan CENTERS (54.7 percent to 45.29 percent).

WORK EXPERIENCE

She has worked in the fields of food safety, toxicology and health care.

She has a degree in microbiology from Michigan State University, where she also volunteered at the Listening Ear Crisis Center.
