POLITICAL CAREER

In December 2020, Rep. Maddock was one of 15 Michigan lawmakers who signed onto a lawsuit brought by the state of Texas challenging Michigan's election results in hopes of overturning President-elect Joe BIDEN's victory.  

Rep. Maddock was first elected to the House on Nov. 6, 2018 when he defeated Democrat Laura DODD by securing 57.53 percent of the vote. 

Maddock came out on top of a five-candidate field in the August primary by securing 63 percent of the vote.

In 2020, Maddock ran unopposed in the primary and dfeated Democrat Denise FORREST by a 59.5 to 40.4% margin.

Maddock has been a small business owner of A-1 Bail Bonds and A-1 Investigations for the past 28 years.
