O'Malley, Jack (R)State Representative District 101
In December 2020, Rep. O'Malley was one of 15 Michigan lawmakers who signed onto a lawsuit brought by the state of Texas challenging Michigan's election results in hopes of overturning President-elect Joe BIDEN's victory.
OMalley was first elected to the Michigan House on Nov. 6, 2018 by defeating Democrat Kathy WIEJACKZKA with 56.6 percent of the vote.
He secured the nomination when he defeated on other Republican with 84.8 percent of the primar vote.
In 2020, O'Malley won his second term by defeating Carolyn CATER in the GOP primary 86.7% to 13.2%. In the general, O'Malley easily defeated Democrat Beth McGILL-RIZER 60.6% to 39.3%.
He began his career at the morning radio show at WTCM FM, where he holds the unofficial record for the longest-running morning show at one station in Michigan history, at 34 years.

He is a graduate of the Specs Howard School of Broadcasting.
He and his wife Robin have two adult dauhters and one teenage son.
He is active with the area's veterans, served on the community corrections board and has worked with area law enforcement and fire departments. He is a volunteer with Child and Family Services of Northwest Michigan, Hospice of Michigan and has coached high school softball for a dozen years.
