He was first elected to the House on Nov. 6, 2018 when he defeated Democrat William SHOOP by securing 67 percent of the vote.

Green won out in a three candidate primary field by securing 38.8 percent of the vote.


Green served as the youth pastor at a local church for several years.

He was pastor of First Baptist Church in Pavilion, New York, and chaplain at the Genesee County Sheriff's Office in Batavia, New York.

Since returning to Michigan, Green has been the school administrator of Juniata Christian School in Vassar.
