POLITICAL CAREER

In December 2020, Rep. Eisen was one of 15 Michigan lawmakers who signed onto a lawsuit brought by the state of Texas challenging Michigan's election results in hopes of overturning President-elect Joe BIDEN's victory.  

Rep. Eisen was first elected to the House on Nov. 6, 2018 when he handed Democrat Joshua RIVARD defeat by earning 63.4 percent of the vote.

Eisen battled his way to the top of eight-candidate field when he secured the GOP nomination in August 2018 by capturing 24.3 percent of the vote.

In 2020, Eisen defeated John MAHANEY in the August primary 72.2% to 27.7%.  In the November general election he defeated Democratic nominee Debbie BOURGOIS with a 68.4% to 31.5% margin.  

He previously made two unsuccessful runs for the state House. In 2010, he ran as an Independent, coming in third in the November general election with 3,793 votes.

In 2012, Eisen ran as a Republican. He earned 26.2% of the vote in the August 2012 primary, finishing second behind then soon-to-be Rep. Dan Lauwers in a five-candidate Republican race.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Eisen is the owner of Eisen Inc., a welding and fabricating business in Richmond.

Eisen is married to Annie.

CIVIC ACTIVITIES

He serves as national sports chair for AAU USA Target Shooting and teaches american Warrior Martial Arts classes. He is a member of the AUUO nonprofit sports association.

He is a member of St. Peter's Church and has served on the Church Council for the past four years.
