POLITICAL CAREER

Rep. Paquette was first elected to the House on Nov. 6, 2018 when he secured 61.3 percent of the vote to defeat Democrat Dean HILL

Paquette came out on top of six candidate GOP primary field in the 78th House district when he secured 49 percent of the vote.

He served on the city of Niles Planning Commission.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Paquette worked as an educator, teaching at Niles New Tech Entrepreneurial Academy where he has led Project-Based Learning for the New Tech Network.

EDUCATION

He received a bacehlor's degree from Northern Michigan University in political science and pre-law in 2009. He received his master's from Andrews University in 2012.
