POLITICAL CAREER
Rep. Regina Weiss was first elected to the House in November 2020. She previously served on the Oak Park City Council since 2017.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Weiss was a Detroit High School social studies teacher who formerly taught in Detroit Public Schools as an English language arts teacher. She is involved in the Tri Community Coalition, a group designed to help youth avoid drug and alcohol abuse.

The Saint John, IN, native is a Marian Catholic High School graduate who received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University.

From 2010-2013, Weiss participated in AmeriCorps and Teach for America. She is married with no children.
